Acceptance of Terms

By using the PCO Scheduling Assistant ("Service"), including the web dashboard, AI scheduling assistant, and SMS program, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Service Description

The PCO Scheduling Assistant is a volunteer scheduling tool that integrates with Planning Center Online. It provides a web dashboard, an AI-powered scheduling assistant, and SMS notifications to help churches manage volunteer scheduling.

Planning Center Integration

The Service accesses Planning Center data through their authorized API using OAuth. You must have a valid Planning Center account and appropriate permissions within your organization to use this Service. Your use of Planning Center data through this Service remains subject to Planning Center's Terms of Service.

AI Assistant

The AI scheduling assistant is a tool to help with scheduling decisions. It may occasionally produce incorrect suggestions. Administrators are responsible for reviewing and confirming all scheduling actions before they are applied. The Service does not use Planning Center data or conversation history to train AI models.

Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Organization (church) is the data controller for volunteer information processed through the Service.

SMS Program

The SMS component sends messages to church volunteers regarding scheduling requests, confirmations, reminders, and administrative notifications on behalf of their church.

• Message frequency: Varies based on scheduling activity; you may receive multiple messages per week during active periods
• Message and data rates: May apply — check with your mobile carrier
• Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving SMS
• Help: Reply HELP or contact your church administrator
• Supported carriers: All major US carriers; carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to access Planning Center data you are not authorized to view
• Attempt to extract or scrape data from the Service for purposes other than volunteer scheduling
• Use the Service in any way that violates Planning Center's Terms of Service
• Share login credentials or invite tokens with unauthorized individuals

Service Availability

The Service depends on third-party platforms including Planning Center Online, Anthropic, Twilio, and Stripe. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not responsible for outages caused by these providers.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for scheduling errors, missed notifications, or any damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by your Organization in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, all Organization data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated at any time. We will notify active Organizations of material changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
